ARNHEM, Netherlands, July 4, 2015–Kirsten Beckers claimed doubleheader Freestyle victories at the Outdoor Gelderland CDI4* Saturday winning the Grand Prix on Westpoint and the Intermediate on Broere Argentino.
The Netherlands rider and the 12-year-old KWPN stallion (Jazz x Michelangelo) scored 72.750 for the second Freestyle victory for the pair this year.
Caudia Fassaert on Donnerfee, who rode for Belgium at the 2012 Olympics, 2013 Europeans and 2014 World Games, placed second on 72.250 per cent,
The USA’s Charlotte Jorst of Reno, Nevada on Kastel’s Nintendo was third on 71.175 per cent, the third show on the first European circuit for the pair.
Kirsten Beckers on Broere Argentino won the Intermediate Freestyle in only the second international competition for the partnership.
Holland-based Canadian Dana Hewett on Sancerre placed second on 70.325 per cent with Geert Jan Raateland of the Netherlands on Crespo in third on 70.200 per cent.
