BROHOLM, Denmark, June 14, 2015–Anna Kasprzak and Donnperignon won the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday to sweep the Danish Championships after victories in the Grand Prix and the Special.

Anna and the Finnish Warmblood gelding now 16 years old scored 77.700 per cent for the Freestyle win. Before these championships, Anna and Donnperignon have not competed internationally since the World Games in Normandy, France more than nine months ago.

Agnete Kirk Thinggaard on Jojo AZ placed second in the Freestyle on 76.100 per cent for championship silver medal with Daniel Bachmann Andersen on Blue Hors Loxana third in the Freestyle on 74.175 per cent and championship bronze.

The Wellington, Florida-based Mikala Gundersen on My Lady had been in second place overall heading into the Freestyle but scored 64.765 per cent for 14th place.

These championships were part of the process to select a team for the European Championships in Aachen, Germany in August where Denmark will be looking to qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
