Argentina on Friday announced its Pan American Games team of two Big Tour and two Samll Tour combinations.

Argentina is one of four nations to include Big Tour combinations in its team for the unique format of mixed Big and Small Tour pairs at the continental championships in Toronto a month from now.

The team:

Big Tour

Micaela Mabragaña, 28 years old, and Granada, 19-year-old Sweedish Warmblood gelding. Competed in 2010 World Equestrian Games by Oded Shimoni of Israel and qualified by Micaela for 2014 WEG.

Cesar Lopardo Grana, 57 years old, and Tyara, 15-year-old KPWN mare, competed at Grand Prix by the Netherlands’ Laurens Van Lieren before Cesar purchased Tyara in late 2013. Cesar was team silver medalist at 2014 South American Games in Chile.

Small Tour

Maria Florencia Manfredi, 33 years old, and Bandurria Kasero, nine-year old Silla Argentino gelding, team silver medalist at 2014 South American Games.

Juliana Ugalde, 44 years old, and Caquel Cautivo, 18-year-old Silla Argentino gelding. Argentine Small Tour Champion in 2014.
