LEXINGTON, Kentucky, June 8, 2015–The United States dressage team for the Pan American Games was announced Monday with no surprises for the unique format of mixed Big and Small Tour horses and riders that will be seeking to win the single slot available for the 2016 Olympics.

The team to compete at the Pan Ams in Toronto next month as announced by the U.S. Equestrian Federation:

Big Tour
Laura Graves of Plymouth, Florida and Verdades, 13-year-old KWPN gelding
Steffen Peters of San Diego, California and Legolas 92, 13-year-old Westfalen gelding

Small Tour
Kimberly Herslow of Stockton, New Jersey and Rosmarin, 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding
Sabine Schut-Kery of Thousand Oaks, California on Sanceo, nine-year-old Hanoverian stallion.

Traveling reserves: to the U.S. Team (in alphabetical order):

Big Tour
Allison Brock of Wellington, Florida on Rosevelt, 13-year-old Hanoverian stallion
Steffen Peters on Rosamunde, eight-year-old Rhinelander mare

Small Tour
Olivia LaGoy-Weltz of Middleburg, Virgina and Rassing’s Lonoir, 11-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding

Final approval will be made by the U.S Olympic Committee.

Canada, which will also field a mixed format team, is expected to announce its squad later this week.
