
CEDAR VALLEY, Ontario, May 23, 2015–Jacqueline Brooks on D Niro won the first of two Canadian World Cup events for the 2015/16 season by taking the Grand Prix Freestyle at Cedar Valley Saturday night.
Jacqueline and the 16-year-old gray Swedish Warmblood gelding won the Freestyle on a score of 73.175 per cent over Chrstilot Boylen on Drentano on 72.575 per cent and the Dominican Republic’s Yvonne Losos de Muniz on Foco Loco W in third on 69.227 per cent.
Jacqueline and D Niro represented North America in the 2013 World Cup Final.
Brittany Fraser on All In won the Intermediate Freestyle on 73.875 per cent with Leslie Reid on Fine and Smart second on 69.400 per cent and Guatemala’s Esther Mortimer on Adajio third on 68.150 per cent,
The score for Brittany and All In, a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, wss a personal career best small tour result for the pair.
