SAUMUR, France, May 1, 2015–Great Britain’s Fiona Bigwood and Atterupgaards Orthilia won the Saumur CDI3* Grand Prix Friday with a personal best score for the second win of their first year at Big Tour.

Fiona and the 10-year-old Oldenburg mare posted 74.720 per cent for the win in only their third international Grand Prix that improved on their 74.660 per cent result six weeks ago.

The 39-year-old British team World Games and four-time European Championship rider began competing Orthilia at Grand Prix in March this year, two years after acquiring the horse that was sucessfully ridden by Denmark’s Young Rider Catherine Dufour.

France’s Arnaud Serre on Robinson de Lafont de Massa was second on 71.760 per cent with Germany’s Isabelle Steidle on Long Drink third on 71.220 per cent.
