CASELLE DI SOMMACAMPAGNA, Italy, April 26, 2015–Leonardo Tiozzo and Randon won the Caselle di Sommacampagna CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday, the first victory for the 20-year-old Italian who began competing the Polish Warmblood gelding 18 months ago.

Leonardo and the 18-year-old Randon scored 70.400 per cent for the win over Austria’s Timna Zack on Quantico on 70.225 per cent with Mattias Jansson of Sweden on Constantine P third on 68.775 per cent.

Leonardo rode Randon for Italy at last year’s World Games in Normandy.

Randon was competed by Michal Rapcewicz for Poland at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, the 2006 and 2010 World Equestrian Games as well as other championships.

Switzerland’s Marcela Krinke Susmelj on Smeyers Molberg won the Grand Prix on 70.120 per cent and the Special on 71.529 per cent.
