LAS VEGAS, April 19, 2015–Edward Gal, Charlotte Dujardin and Carl Hester received specially designed brow bands for membership in the 80 per cent club created by dressage-news.com at international Grand Prix of which only 11 riders have achieved in the history of the sport.
Edward is the only rider to have performed the achievement on two different horses–on Totilas and Glock’s Undercover–so received two brow bands.
Charlotte received her browband for 80 per cent performances on Valegro and Carl with Uthopia.
The brow bands were designed and made by Robin Brown of Sarasota, Florida for dressage-news.com to honor riders who achieve 80 per cent at Grand Prix.
Only 11 riders on 12 different horses have achieved the feat since Anky van Grunsven became the first to do so on Salinero in 2006.
Laura Tomlinson of Great Britain received her award last month for 80 per cent performances on Mistral Hojris.
The others are Adelinde Cornelissen of the Netherlands on Jerich Parzival, Steffen Peters of the United States on Ravel, Matthias Alexander Rath of Germany on Totilas, Helen Langehanenberg of Germany on Damon Hill, Kristina Sprehe of Germany on Desperados and Isabell Werth of Germany on Bella Rose.
