s’HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, Mar. 13, 2015–In their first competition of the year, Edward Gal and Glock’s Undercover won the Indoor Brabant World Cup Grand Prix Friday, with the pair posting their ninth score above 80 per cent and won the CDI4* Grand Prix on Glock’s Voice.
Edward and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding scored 82.680 per cent at the last of nine 2014/2015 Western European League competitions to qualify for the Final in Las Vegas next month. The Freestyle is scheduled for Saturday to determine the standings and which Europeans will be invited to Las Vegas.
Germany’s Isabell Werth on Don Johnson FRH was second on 76.460 per cent and Diederik von Silfhout on Arlando NH, the 10-year-old KWPN stallion he rode for the Netherlands at last summer’s World Games, posted a personal best Grand Prix score of 76.360 per cent.
