DORTMUND, Germany, Mar. 7, 2015–Kristina Sprehe and Desperados FRH became the Meggle Champions Saturday night with a personal best score of 83.000 per cent for the CDI4* Grand Prix Special a day after posting a result of more than 80 per cent in the Grand Prix.

Kristina and the 14-year-old Hanoverian black stallion won over fellow Germans Ulla Salzgeber on Herzruf’s Erbe on 77.647 per cent with Isabell Werth on Don Johnson FRH third on 77.549 per cent.

The result for Kristina and Desperados, her 2012 Olympic and 2014 World Games mount, beat their previous high of 81.978 per cent at this same event in 2012.

Their Grand Prix score Friday was the highest since the pair posted a score of 81.851 per cent at Hagen, Germany in April, 2012. The combination were selected for the German team for the London Olympics the same year and won team silver.
