OTTAWA, Canada, Jan. 20, 2015–Equine Canada is seeking a Director of High Performance, a newly created position based in the national office in Canada and reporting directly to Chief Executive Officer, Eva Havaris.
‘The ideal candidate is a strong senior manager who has a true passion for amateur sport and a rich equestrian background with a track record of proven results in an operational role in sport,” the organization said in releasing the job description available here. It did not specify whether candidates should be Canadian.
It said the successful candidate “will take on broad responsibilities to ensure that EC’s High Performance department runs at peak capacity.”
Deadline for application submission is Feb. 13, 2015.
