PALM BEACH, Florida, Jan. 4, 2015–Laura Kraut on Cedric, 2008 Olympic team gold medal combination, won the $125,000 Trump Invitational at historic Mar a Lago estate on Palm Beach Sunday as a curtain raiser for 12 weeks of the Global Dressage Festival and Winter Equestrian Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

Laura of Wellington, Florida and the 17-year-old small gray that is a fan favorite for his big heart was the last to go in the jump off and beat the American-based Irish rider Darragh Kenny on Fantasy with the USA’s Brianne Goutal on Ballade van Het third.

Cedric is owned by Margaret Duprey, a dressage rider and an owner of horses competed by Todd Flettrich.
