The dressage World Cup qualifier in Odense that has launched each season’s Western European League may move to the Royal Arena under construction in Copenhagen’in two years to enable a World Cup jumping event to also be held in a larger arena with more spectators.

Bo Kristoffersen of JBK Horse Shows that stages the Odense competition as well as the 2013 European Championships of dressage and jumping at Herning confirmed negotiations with LiveNation that will manage the Royal Arena concert and sport schedule.

The aim, he told dressage-news.com while visiting Wellington, Florida–home of the Global Dressage Festival and the Winter Equestrian Festival–is to reach an agreement for a move to Copenhagen in time for the 2016/2017 World Cup season.
