OTTAWA, Ontario, Oct. 15, 2014–Viva’s Salieri W, the stallion that Tom Dvorak rode on Canada’s silver medal team at the 2011 Pan American Games and had moved to Grand Prix, has died of colic at the age of 13.

Tom and Elllen Dvorak took on Viva’s Salieri W as a four-year-old. The horse was ridden by Tom at snall tour on the Canadian team at the 2011 Pan Ams in Guadalajara, Mexico and the pair placed fourth individually at both the Intermediate 1 and Freestyle.

Viva’s Salieri moved up to Grand Prix in 2012 and this year won the Grand Prix Special at the CDI3* in Lexington, Kentucky in May and the Special at the World Cup event at Palgrave, Ontario in June.
