ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 14, 2014–Victoria Max-Theurer and Augustin OLD performed for a personal best score to win the Grand Prix Freestyle at her family’s CDI4* Saturday.
Vici and her 2012 Olymic mount scored 81.400 per cent for the victory and eclipsing their previous high mark of 81.050 per cent at Munich two years ago. As the top ranked Austrian she is expected to compete at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy at the end of August, which will be the first for the pair as she skipped the 2010 WEG in Kentucky because of health issues with the stallion, now 14 years old.
Marcela Krinke Susmelj and Smeyers Molberg placed second on 76.125 per cent and the USA’s Jennifer Hoffmann and Rubinio NRW third on 71.800 per cent.
