WINDSOR, England, May 16, 2014–Charlotte Dujardin and Uthopia led a British sweep of the top three places at the Royal Windsor Horse Show CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Friday night, setting a new high score for the partnership while the runnerup combination of Michael Eilberg and Half Moon Delphi also posted a personal best.
The result of 83.675 per cent showed the growing partnership of Charlotte and the 13-year-old KWPN stallion (Metall x Inspekteur) that competed together at four shows in 2013 and were competing in their third freestyle so far this year.
Michael and Half Moon Delphi scored 79.400 per cent in their first show of the year and surpassing their previous high of 78.700 per cent attained at London Olympia last December. The pair were on Britain’s European Championship bronze medal team last year.
Carl Hester on Nip Tuck, in only their second CDI show, placed third on 75.725 per cent.
