MANNHEIM, Germany, May 4, 2014–In their first show since last Christmas, Germany’s Jenny Lang and Loverboy won the Maimarkt Turnier CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday, repeating the victory notched at this event a year ago to give the pair their second CDI career top placing.

Jenny and the 14-year-old Holsteiner gelding scored 77.525 per cent, second highest behind the 77.750 posted at the Hickstead, England Nations Cup Freestyle last summer where she led the German team to a bronze medal.

German 2012 Olympic rider Dorothee Schneider and Silvano were second on 74.950 per cent with Denmark’s Maria Anita Andersen on Blue Hors Leredo third on 73.450 per cent.

The 27-year-old Jenny began competing Loverboy (Lorentin I x Alcatraz) at Grand Prix just over a year ago and in 15 starts has finished in the top three 10 times.
