STADL PAURA, Austria, April 20, 2014–Victoria Max-Theurer and Augustin OLD won the CDI3* Grand Prix for Freestyle Sunday while Germany’s Thomas Wagner and Very Keen followed up their first Grand Prix victory by taking the Special.
The Austrian rider and the 14-year-old stallion that she has not competed since last November, scored 73.880 per cent for the win over Germany’s Stefanie Weihermüller and Fantomas IV on 69.380 per cent with Christian Schumach on Auheim’s Picardo with 68.220 per cent in third place.
Germany’s Thomas Wagner and the 12-year-old KWPN gelding, the 2012 Lousidor Cup champions for developing Grand Prix horses in Germany, won the Grand Prix Special with a score of 71.37 per cent, a day after posting their first CDI Grand Prix victory.
Sanneke Rothenberger of Germany on Favourit was second with 70.49 per cent and per cent and Denmark’s Agnete Kirk Thinggaard on Jojo AZ third on 69.04 per cent.
