NIEUW EN SINT JOOSLAND, Netherlands, April 3, 2014–Belgium’s Claudia Fassaert and Donerfee won the Zeeland Outdoor CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday as the Olympic pair campaign for a start in their second World Equestrian Games.

Claudia and the 14-year-old Oldenburg mare scored 71.460 per cent for their best Grand Prix result since the World Equetrian Festival at Aachen, Germany last June. Julie De Deken and Lucky Dance, Claudia’s European Championship team mate in 2013, were second on 69.980 per cent with Juliette Ramel of Sweden on Ten Points third on 69.820 per cent.

Claudia and Donnerfee began their international Grand Prix career exactly four years ago and since then have competed at the WEG in Kentucky in 2010, the London Olympics in 2012 and the European Championships in 2011 and 2013.
