WELLINGTON, Florida, Mar. 25, 2014–Betsy Juliano who has training faclities in Florida and Ohio, and George Williams announced Tuesday their five-year professional relationship will end at the close of this winter season.
George said he plans to devote himself to working fulltime with other clients and horses.
“This is a difficult transition for me as I am very dedicated to the people and horses at Havensafe,” George said. “When you train horses and people for this length of time, you become very attached. It has been a pleasure to train Cleopatra, Don Bailey, Riccidoff and Horizon. I am proud to say that we met Betsy’s goals of earning her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and Silver Freestyle Bar.”
“George and I have had a terrific time,” Betsy said. “We’ve worked hard, traveled many miles and have had much success and lots of laughs. The positive changes he has produced in my horses’ performance and my own riding have been astounding. I have decided, however, that with my current situation, I want to have a trainer who will devote his or her full time to me and my horses at my farms in Middlefield, Ohio, and in Wellington.”
George is the sold dressage representative on the board of the U.S. Equestrian Federation and is president of the U.S. Dressage Federation.
