DORTMUND, Germany, Mar. 7, 2014–Helen Langehanenberg and Damon Hill NRW, the world’s No. 2 ranked partnership, won the Signal Iduna CDI4* Grand Prix Friday while the 25-year-old Dutch star Danielle Heijkoop and Kingsley Siro posted a personal best to take the runnerup spot.

Helen and the 14-year-old Westfalen stallion that she is preparing to defend her World Cup title next month scored 83.700 per cent for the seventh straight victory for the pair since leading Germany to team gold at the European Championships last summer.

In their first international competition of 2014, Danielle and  her 15-year-old KWPN gelding scored 77.280 per cent. The previous best Grand Prix result for the pair was 76.489 per cent at London Olympia last December.

Germany’s Isabell Werth and Don Johnson FRH were third place on 75.440 per cent.
