LOXAHATCHEE, Florida, Feb. 25–The United States Equestrian Federation on Tuesday approved the full three-day schedule of the White Fences event after an outpouring of support for the organizer and the shows.
Adam Pollak, the organizer, notified dressage-news.com of the approval for Friday, Mar. 21 along with Saturday and Sunday dates for 2014. For 2015 on, an exemption will be required from Wellington Classic Dressage that holds dates that conflict but did not host an event in 2013 and was not on the UsEF calendar for this year.
The USEF had already approved the Welcome Back to White Fences II and III shows from Friday Mar. 21 to Sunday Mar. 23, but approval for the Friday was put on hold as a result of the complaint.
Entries had already been accepted for the three days of the show.
Adam Pollak, organizer of competitions at White Fences which has hosted dressage events for more than 30 years, was concerned over entries already received and whether he would be able to continue accepting entries.
The Global Dressage Festival has a two-day national competition scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, Mar. 19-20.
