WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 15, 2014–King’s Excaliber, the son of Leslie Morse’s Kingston, was competed in his first Grand Prix Saturday, a national competition at at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival.

“A first run through,” was the way Leslie described the ride on the nine-year-old Oldenburg gelding before a single judge.

Leslie, of Beverly Hills, California, bred Kingston to a Sion mare. The horse has been shown only sporadically.

Kingston was ridden by Leslie at the World Cup Finals at Dusseldorf in 2004 and Las Vegas in 2005.
