LEXINGTON, Kentucky, Dec. 19, 2013–The four American dressage coaches have joined to present U.S. Equestrian Federation/U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation Pipeline Clinics through a gift from Betsy Juliano and Havensafe Farm.

The clinics are designed to showcase riders and horses in one clinic with Robert Dover, Chef d’Equipe/Technical Advisor; Debbie McDonald, Developing Coach; Scott Hassler, Young Horse Coach, and Jeremy Steinberg, Youth Coach.

The four coaches working together will demonstrate harmonization of the coaching programs in clinics on both the East and West Coasts beginning at the Global Dressage Festival grounds in Wellington, Florida Jan. 28-29. Dates and location of the West Coast clinic are to be determined.

Each coach will work with three riders for their respective programs for a total of 12 riders.

The clinic will kick off each day with a rider fitness session followed by individual mounted training sessions. Two coaches will be assigned for each individual mounted training session with two arenas running simultaneously. Riders will participate in sports psychology sessions in the late afternoon. Riders, as well as horse owners and trainers of invited riders, will participate in an evening discussion on media, owner and sponsor relations led by a panel of experts in those fields.

The training sessions will be open to auditors for a minimal fee and applications will be available on USEF website: in January 2014.

Betsy Juliano is a USET Foundation Trustee and her Havensafe Farms are located in Middlefield, Ohio, and Wellington.
