WARENDORF, Germany, Dec. 3, 2013–Ulla Salzgeber has made it back to the German Championship squad with the return to competition of Herzruf’s Erbe while Dablino ridden by Anabel Balkenhol was dropped in the German Olympic Dressage Committee rankings released Tuesday.

The committee cited the results of Herzruf’s Erbe at the World Cup event in Stuttgart as a major factor in returning the pair to the squad after the 14-year-old Rhineland gelding was out of competition for a year.

The Championship squad is: Nadine Capellmann with Girasol, Helen Langehanenberg with Damon Hill NRW, Fabienne Lütkemeier with D’ Agostino, Kristina Sprehe with Desperados FRH and Isabell Werth with Don Johnson FRH, Bella Rose and El Santo NRW.

The B-team is: Anabel Balkenhol with Diamonds Forever, Uta Gräf with Le Noir and Dandelion, Ingrid Klimke with Dresden Mann, Christoph Koschel with Rostropovich NRW and Rubin Cortes OLD, Jenny Lang with Loverboy, Hubertus Schmidt with Imperio, Dorothee Schneider with Forward Looking and Brigitte Wittig with Biagiotti W. Wolfram Wittig withdrew from consideration.

B2 Squad: Annabel Frenzen with Cristobal, Jan Herrmann with D’Accord, Nadine Husenbeth with Florida, Victoria Michalke with Dance on and Pavarotti, Sanneke Rothenberger with Favourit and Cloud Nine and Charlott-Maria Schürmann with Burlington. Marion Engelen with Diego OLD remains while Stella Charlott Roth is dropped with Diva Royal.
