OTTAWA, Ontario, Nov. 19–Dressage rider Brittany Fraser has been selected to represent the sport of Equestrian Selected for CIBC Team Next in a program by the Canadian banking group to provide athletes $15,000 in funding over three years.

Brittany who has ridden her eight-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, All In, to success at small tour in CDIs on the United States East Coast this year is one of the 67 amateur athletes from across Canada who will receive the grants as well as life skills and sport mentorship from eight of Canada’s top high performance athletes.

The athletes were named in a ceremony at Ryerson University’s Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto Monday.

CIBC is the lead partner of the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.

CIBC designed the CIBC Team Next program in partnership with AthletesCAN, the association of Canada’s national team athletes, and the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario to create a lasting sports legacy in Canada.

Dressage at the 2015 Pan Ams will be for teams of mixed Grand Prix and small tour combinations.
