Tickets for the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France go on sale around the world next Monday.

The official ticketing website for the Alltech FEI WEG will be open to the general public to book passes to multiple events by clicking here.

Sales 15,000 groups of tickets, or Passes, to provide access to several events will be for sale until Mar. 3.

A variety of 25 Passes–18 Discovery Passes and 7 Sensation Passes–will be available for all disciplines–for the world championships of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, jumping. reining and vaulting as well as para-dressage from Aug. 23 to Sept. 7.

Discovery Passes are designed for non specialists to see various disciplines over one or two days. Sensation Passes are more suited to equestrian enthusiasts to watch several different events with the added bonus of at least one guaranteed final.

A discount of 20 per cent is provided for these tickets compared with individual tickets.

Passes are available for as little as €16 (US$21.50) while children under the age of 12 will get tickets at half price. Several other special rates will be available to enable as many people as possible to attend the WEG.

Pass holders will also have access to the Games Village, an immense outdoor school located in the heart of Caen, close to the Zénith indoor arena and the Exhibition Centre. Inside the Village, visitors will be see demonstrations, taster sessions and entertainment of different themes: cowboy country, circus, Normandy, sporting exploits and more as well as have access to the village’s dining areas, cafés, relaxation areas and exhibition stands.

“The ticketing offer for the general public keeps all of its promises,” said Laurent Beauvais, chairman of the Normandy 2014 Organizing Committee, “giving you the chance to spend a lovely day at the Games with your family. Children and young people from Normandy can purchase tickets at an unbeatable price, something that has never before been seen at the World Equestrian Games.”

Individual tickets for sessions will be offered beginning Mar. 4.

Priority bookings have been available to members of the French Equestrian Federation since June.

A total of more than 400,000 tickets will be put on sale.
