DONAUESCHENING, Germany, Sept. 14–Nadine Capellmann notched double wins at the Donaueschingen CDI4* Saturday, posting the third straight victory on Girasol 7 in the Grand Prix and on Dark Dynamic in the Youngster Grand Prix.

Nadine, a 2008 German Olympic team gold rider, and the 12-year-old 12-year-old Württemberger mare (Gribaldi x Landioso) scored 73.170 per cent for a German sweep of the top eight places in the Grand Prix.

Jenny Lang on Loverboy placed second on 72.872 per cent, a personal best for the pair that started at CDI Grand Prix less than six months ago. Hubertus Schmidt and Donnelly were third on 71.617 per cent.

Nadine and Girasol won both the Grand Prix and the Special at their previous competition in Verden, Germany last month, The only previous win since starting their international Grand Prix career in March, 2011 was at Dortmund, Germany last year.

Nadine and Dark Dynamic, a 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Don Vino x Hohenstein) scored 71.721 per cent for the victory in the Louisdor Prix Youngster Grand Prix.

Arlene “Tuny” Page of Wellington, Florida rode the 10-year-old Woodstock in their first CDI since buying the hose nine months ago and placed second in the Developing Grand Prix with a score of 70.140 per cent.

She has spent the summer training and competing in Germany with Alina and Woodstock, a KWPN gelding (Havel x Contango) that was previously competed up to small tour internationally by Vincent Guilloteau of France.

On Alina in the Grand Prix, Tuny placed ninth with 69.000 per cent.
