WROCKLAW, Poland, Sept. 13–Katarzyna Milczarek rode Ekwador to victory in the Intermediaire II Friday as a warmup to the World Cup event that is the fifth of six qualifiers in the Central European League.
Katarzyna and the 13-year-old Polish stallion scored 69.000 per cent for the win with compatriot Zaneta Skowronska on Salmag With You second on 67.447 per cent and Petra Logger-Beers of the Netherlands on Odame K third, also on 67.447 per cent.
The Netherlands Jessica Leijser on Winando won the Prix St. Georges with a score of 70.877 per cent and Joyce van Schalck on Well Done Sollenburg second on 69.430 per cent.
Australia’s Hayley Beresford on Blickpunkt was third on 67.719 per cent in the first CDI for the German-based rider and the eight-year-old Westfalen stallion.
Genevieve Kirk, an Australian student of Hayley’s, tied for first place with 66.886 per cent on two horses, First Wish and Moosbends Ricados, in the Young Rider Team Prix St. Georges.
