DONAUESCHINGEN, Germany, Sept. 12–Germany’s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Redford, a nine-year-old Hanoverian, won the warmup test for Louis d’Or Prix for Youngster Grand Prix on Thursday to kick off the first day of dressage at the CHI Donaueschingen.

Jessica and Redford (Rosentau x Escudo I) scored 70.513 per cent with compatriot Hubertus Schmidt on Imperio, a Trakehner stallion that was reserve world young horse champion and the German titleist and returning from a long injury timeout, was second on 69.128 per cent. Charlott -Maria Schürmann and Burlington FRH tied with Oliver Oelrich and Agnone for third on 68.974 per cent.

Arlene “Tuny” Page of Wellington, Florida on Woodstock placed fifth on 68.359 per cent.
