HARTPURY, England, July 5–Charlotte Dujardin continued her improving results with Uthopia by capturing the Hartpury Festival of Dressage CDI3* Grand Prix Friday with the pair’s highest score at the level so far.

Charlotte, the double London Olympic gold medalist on Valegro, scored 76.404 per cent on the 12-year-old KWPN gelding (Metall x Inspekteur) that she began competing at CDI three months ago. Carl Hester, Uthopia’s owner and Charlotte’s mentor, rode the horse on Great Britain’s gold medal team at last summer’s Olympics. This was the third Grand Prix on Uthopia for Charlotte and their previous best score was 75.064 per cent at the Rotterdam CDIO5* two weeks ago.

Felow Briton Michael Eilberg on Half Moon Delphi placed second with 73.000 per cent that was the best Grand Prix result since the pair started the Big Tour 16 months ago. Denmark’s Anders Dahl and Wie-Atlantico De Ymas were third on 67.277 per cent.
