Germany selected 14 young horses, Denmark 10, Australia three and the United States one for the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany Aug. 6-11.
The Netherlands will make its final selection in mid-July.
After two observation events at Warendorf, Germany the nominated horses are:
Five-year-olds:
Belarus – Westfalen stallion (by Beltoni x Riccione);
Damon’s Satelite – Westfalen gelding (by Damon Hill x Rubin Royal);
De Nino – Hanoverian gelding (by Don Schufro x Sandro Hit);
Diabolo Nymphenburg – Hanoverian gelding (by Don Crusador x Weltmeyer);
Hotshot – Hanoverian stallion (by Hotline M x Donnerhall);
Scara Boa – Hanoverian mare (by Scolari x Wolkenstein II), and
Sir Heinrich OLD – Oldenburg stallion (by Sir Donnerhall x Fürst Heinrich)
