Belgian photographer Dirk Caremans won the prestigious Silver Camera awarded by the CHIO at Aachen, Germany for the best horse sport photo in 2013–of Germany’s Helen Langehanenberg on Damon Hill NRW at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden last April.

The photo was selected from 64 entries from photographers around the world. The award is made by Aachen Lauren Rennverein, organizer of the CHIO, Sparkasse Aachen and the Rhineland Savings Banks and Giro Association.

The winner received €2,500, second €1,000 and third €500 (US$3,250, $1,300 and $650).
