Voice, the 11-year-old KWPN stallion, has been added to the string of mounts ridden by Edward Gal under the Glock banner.
Gaston and Kathrin Glock bought the black stallion (De Niro x Rohdiamant) for Edward to continue to compete after last weekend’s Outdoor Gelderland CDI3* in Arnhem, the Netherlands, where the pair posted wins in the Grand Prix and the Freestyle. The sweep was the second for the pair at CDIs within the past month.
The horse was eighth and seventh in the PAVO Cup and 10th as a five-year-old at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. Edward took over the ride the ride three years ago.
The horse was out for a year with an injury before returning to the CDI arena at Rosendaal, Netherlands, two weeks ago to capture both Grand Prix classes then repeated the feat at Arnhem where they broke 80 per cent in the Freestyle.
With the addition of Voice, the Glocks have about three dozen dressage and jumper horses at their Horse Peformance Centers in the Netherlands and Austria, including Undercover, Tango, Ziesto, Lord of Loxley and Romanov that are with Edward, Hans Peter Minderhoud and Nicole Werner at the Dutch facility.
