MUNICH, Germany, May 10–Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén and Don Auriello captured the World Dressage Masters CDI5* Grand Prix Friday in their fourth victory in seven starts this year while Germany’s Isabell Werth on Bella Rose continued their spectacular Grand Prix debut by winning the CDI3* Special.

The Swedish Olympic combination scored 76.043 per cent in the Grand Prix for the 5* being staged here for the fifth year while Italy’s Valentina Truppa and Fixdesign Eremo del Castegna were second on 75.085 per cent and Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer and Blind Date were third on 74.489 per cent.

Tinne and Don Auriello, an 11-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Don Davidoff x Wey of mey x White Star), who started their Grand Prix together in Florida in the winter of 2011, won three of their four starts in Palm Beach this year before returning home to compete at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, Sweden last month where they placed fourth in the Freestyle.

Isabell and Bella Rose won the CDI3* Special with a score of 75.729 per cent, a day after a similar result in their first CDI Grand Prix. Fellow German Carola Koppelmann and Desperado 171 were second on 72.688 per cent and Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Toy Story third on 72.271 per cent.
