MUNICH, Germany, May 9–Isabel Werth showed off Bella Rose in the mare’s first CDI to claim victory at the Pferd International CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday, the latest top mount for the winner of more Olympic and championship medals than any rider in history.

Isabell and Bella Rose, a nine-year-old Westfalen (Belissimo M x Cadra II x Cacir AA) scored 75.298 per cent with four of the five judges placing the pair first over Sweden’s Patrik Kittel and Toy Story 2 on 72.468 per cent and Germany’s Carola Koppelmann and Desperado 171 third on 71.396 per cent.

Bella Rose was competed at a national developing Grand Prix horse event in Hagen, Germany just three weeks ago and this was the pir’s first move into the top level of the sport.
