Poland’s Olympic combination of Katarzyna Milczarek and Ekwador repeated as victors in the Grand Prix Freestyle at Radzionkow, Poland CDI3* Sunday, while Heike Kemmer of Germany and Quantico captured the Special.
Katarzyna and the 13-year-old Polish stallion (Heraldik XX x Enigma x Corofino I), who also won the Freestyle here in 2012, scored 73.375 per cent in their first CDI performance of the year. Canada’s Pia Fortmüller and Orion were second on 71.375 per cent and Mateusz Cichoń of Poland and Dreamdancer third on 67.500 per cent.
Heike Kemmer and Quantico, a 14-year-old Oldenburg geldng (Quattro B x Serena x World Cup I) won the Grand Prix Special on 70.083 per cent with Russia’s Elena Sidneva and Romeo-Star second on 67.208 per cent and the Czech Republic’s Ema Jancarova and Athos 7 third on 61.917 per cent.
Heike and Quantico won the Grand Prix with a score of 70.000 per cent, Katarzyna and Ekwador were second on 69.936 per cent and Pia and Orion third on 68.872 per cent.
