Australian dressage selector Maria Schwennesen has resigned, Equestrian Australia announced Wednesday, just a week after being appointed to a new four-year term.
The federation said that Maria who had been a selector for six years was stepping down “for her own personal reasons.”
A replacement will be sought to join Richard King and Jacqui Van Montfrans on the three-person selection panel.
She has been a national selector for dressage for the past six years, is a FEI4* dressage judge, National Dressage Judge Educator and Mentor and held many other positions in 30 years involvement with the sport.
