Dressage at Equestrian Estates CDI3* scheduled for Loxahatchee, Florida Mar. 28-31 has been canceled, according to riders entered in the competition who said they were notified Sunday it would not be held.
The cancelation came at the conclusion of the World Cup event at the same show grounds this weekend, one of four competitions staged there on the calendar that initially listed 12 CDIs at three different show grounds over a period of three months over winter.
Three other events organized by the same management group were held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach.
Five CDIs were scheduled for the Global Dressage Festival at Wellington, three of which have been held with a $120,000 CDI5* scheduled for two weeks and the only CDIO Nations Cup in the Western Hemisphere the following week.
The provisional calendar for 2014 also lists 12 CDIs for the Florida wintr circuit.
