LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Dec. 9–Tinne Vilhelmsson Silfvén and Don Auriello moved into the top 10 of the International Equestrian Federation’s world individual dressage rankings for the first time following the pair’s twin victories at the Stockholm Horse Show World Cup event.
The six-time Olympian for Sweden and the 10-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Don Davidoff x Wey o mey x White Star) moved to 10th ranking from 15th the previous month, the biggest move in the top 25 rankings with 2,283 points.
The Grand Prix career for the partnership began in Florida two years ago and was the highest placed Swedish combination at the London Olympics this summer. Tinne and Don Auriello will return to Florida for the third successive winter.
The Netherlands’ Adelinde Cornelissen and Jerich Parzival remained atop the standings wit Great Britain’s double Olympic gold medal pair of Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro in second place and Germany’s Helen Langehanenberg and Damon Hill NRW in third place.
