OLDENBURG, Germany, Nov. 9–Victoria Max-Theurer rode Blind Date that she competed only once, two months before the Austrian rider’s second Olympics, won theInternationale Oldenburger Pferdetage CDI4* Grand Prix Friday.

Vici and the 10-year-old Hanoverian (Breitling W x Donnice x Donnerhall) scored 73.191 per cent with the Netherlands’ Madeleine Witte-Vrees on Blom’s Wynton second on 71.383 per cent and Germany’s Fabienne Lütkemeier on D’Agostino third on 70.723 per cent.

Vici bought Blind Date from Wolfram Wittig whose wife had competed the horse. Wolfram took over training of Vici and her horses from the father of the top Austrian rider.

This was only the second CDI for the new partnership.

Vici competed at both the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics.
