HELSINKI, Oct. 20–Aat van Essen of the Netherlands and Macrider Premier won the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday after recoverng from a mild colic in the Grand Prix two days earlier.
Aat and the 15-year-old KWPN gelding (Jazz x Farah x Ulft) scored 70.275 per cent. Sweden’s Malin Hamilton and Fleetwood were second on 0.150 per cent and fellow Swede Jeanne Hoberg and Liza Minelli third on 70.100 per cent.
Finland’s Alexandra Malmstrom and Md Waterford 2 won the Olympic Grand Prix Special with a score of 63.311 per cent..
