Rausing, Swedish five-year-old stallion owned by Elizabth Ball.

FLYINGE, Sweden, Oct. 7–Rausing 1233, owned for the past two years by Elizabth Ball, placed second with 85.000 per cent in the five-year-old Swedish Breeding and Sport Horse Championships at Flyinge on Sunday.

Ridden by Sandra Sterntorp, the stallion finished second to Carlton Hill VDL with Mia Runesson aboard on 86.800 per cent.

Rausing was first bought at the age of two at the Westfalen stallion licensing in Münster, Germany then sold to Elizabeth of Carlsbad, California, the following year.

Rausing stayed in Sweden in training with Sandra Sterntorp and Andreas Jonsson.

Rausing (Rock Forever x Dimension) won the Danish warmblood 35-day stallion performance test in 2010 with an average score of 8.81 and in 2011 was approved in Sweden and won the four-year-old championship with 86 per cent.

At the Falsterbo Horse Show in July this year, he won both the semi-final and final FEI Young Horse test with a new record score of 78.025 per cent.

In 2010, Elizabeth completed an historic triple when she rode her Selten HW to victory in the six-year-old United States championships to complete three successive age titles. The American-bred Sandro Hit black stallion, won the titles for four and five-year-olds.
