STADL-PAURA, Austria, April 9–Victoria Max-Theurer notched her sixth triumph Monday, completing a sweep of winning all six starts when she claimed the Grand Prix Freestyle aboard Eichendorff and the Intermediaite I on Della Cavalleria OLD.
Vici and the 14-year-old Westfalen stallion (Ehrentusch x Florence x Ferragamo) scored 74.10 per cent with fellow Austrian Stefan Peter on Don Walesko second on 72.78 per cent and Sweden’s Patrik Kittel on Silvano 71 third on 72.70 per cent.
Australia’s Lyndal Oatley started her family’s Sandro Boy 9 in their first CDI Freestyle to finish seventh on 70.48 per cent while her cousin, Kristy, was also riding the freestyle debut on Ronan 2 for ninth on 69.50 per cent.
In the Intermediate I, Vic and the nine-year-old mare Della Cavalleria OLD scored 73.95 per cent with Christine Fie Skarsoe of Denmark on One Night Stand second on 72.26 per cent and Jennifer Hoffman of Encinitas, California, who is based in Germany, on Rubinio tied for third with The Netherlands’ Tamar Zweistra and Hexagon’s Zodindeon at 69.50 per cent.
