WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, Mar. 10–Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén added another victory to her string in Florida this winter when she won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle at the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge II Saturday.
Tinne and the 13-year-old Rhinelander gelding (Fidermark x Wapita x Worldchamp) scored 77.475 per cent with Canada’s Ashley Holzer on her 2008 Olympic mount Pop Art second on 76.025 per cent, Anna Whitfield-Watkins on Oublette in third on 68.300 per cent and Jennifer Baumert of Raleigh, North Carolina on Don Principe fourth on 67.825 per cent.
There were only four combinations in the event.
This was one of two World Cup events in the North American League that wrap up qualifying for the Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, April 18-22. The second event is being held in Del Mar, California.
