LOXAHATCHEE, Florida, Mar. 3–Sweden’s Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén and Divertimento won the Olympic Grand Prix Special at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby World Cup event Saturday, for their seventh victory on the Florida winter circuit.

Tinne and the 10-year-old Westfalen gelding (Di Versace x Fatima x Ferragamo) scored 72.689 per cent with the USA’s 2010 World Equestrian Games combination of Tina Konyot on Calecto V second on 70.444 per cent and the Florida-based Canadian Shannon Dueck on Ayscha in third place on 67.689 per cent.

Tinne and Divertimento placed second in the Grand Prix Friday behind she and Favourit, whom she will compete in the Freestyle on Sunday.

She has already qualified on her third Grand Prix mount, Don Auriello,  for the World Cup Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, in mid-April.

This was the first compeition result for Tina of Palm City, Florida, and Calecto in the Special that was created specially for this year’s Olympics.
