STADL-PAURA, Austria, Feb. 20–The Stadl-Paura CDI3* has been named the First Rudolf Beudel Memorial Tournament to honor the longtime organizer and initiator of the event that will be held April 5-9 this year.
Rudolf died last Aug. 28 at the age of 68.
For 12 years, the event has attracted top riders from around the world as well as the best young riders. The event offers €30,000 (US$40,000) in prize money.
