WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 15–The Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center raised a record of at least $530,000 from the 25th annual auction and dinner that will help launch a second phase of construction at the facility in neighboring Loxahatchee.
The theme of the fundraiser was “Our Suerheroes” that over the years have raised millions of dollars for Vinceremos to operate its programs and on construction, including a covered arena that is vital in mid-summer heat and torrential rains in sub-tropical South Florida.
New stalls will be built beside the covered arena and programs expand to include more participants.
All 22 horses in the program were “adopted” for the year by donors pay for their care.
Arlene Page, chairwoman, Devon Kane, Young Professionals chairwoman, and celebrity hostess Tami Hoag, best-selling author, headed the event.
