
WEST PALM BEACH, Florida, Jan. 19–The number of confirmed entries for the World Dressage Masters Palm Beach expanded to 14 with the addition of a third Swedish rider for the €100,000 (US$130,000) event scheduled for next Friday and Saturday.
The organizers announced Thursday that Per Sandgaard and Lomumba Havdal, a 14-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, is joining fellow Swedes Tinne Vilhelmsson-Silfvén on Favourit and Minna Telda on Deinhardt.
WDM is one of two CDI5* events scheduled for Florida this winter. The Global Dressage Festival in Wellington will stage a CDI5* in March with prize money of $125,000 as part of its inaugural winter circuit with a total purse of more than $275,000.
