Tinne Vilhelmsson Silfvén, the newly crowned Swedish champion, is scheduled to return to Florida for a second year competing on the rapidly growing winter circuit.

Tinne and Don Auriello posted a record score in the Grand Prix Freestyle of 78.450 per cent to win the national championships.

In addition to winning the freestyle and the Grand Prix with Don Auriello, she also placed third in Grand Prix with Divertimento after winning the Intermediaire II.

She started Don Auriello, a nine-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Don Davidoff x Wey o mey x White Star), at Grand Prix in Florida last winter, her first year on the circuit.

She also competes the 12-year-old Favourit that–like her other horses are owned by Antonia Ax:son Johnson–in both the 2011 European Championships at Rotterdam and the 2009 European Championships in Windsor, England.

Her family, husband and nine-year-old son, are scheduled to stay in Wellington, Florida, January through mid-March.

In that time, eight CDIs are scheduled at three different competition venues less than 30 minutes from the stable in Wellington.

Tinne with 35 points is currently at the top of the Western European League for the World Cup Final and she is aiming to make it to ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, next April.

She plans to compete at Stockholm, the third of nine qualifiers in the WEL, later this month.
